Ok here's the latest show, y'all, after several nervous breakdowns and numerous threats of violence from myself to whoever is responsible for podomatic.
Sorry for the wait!

I think there was a problem with podomatic, the host site, but it should be ok now.
Mind you, it's nearly 2and a half hours long, so it will take a while to download...

Only listened to the first 40 minutes so far - absolutely fucking brilliant! This is twisted genius - I've loved every second so far, including all that instrumental muzak. Can't wait to hear the rest - will let you know my thoughts...

OK, finished now (took me at least 3 sessions - but I love that about long podcasts, going back to them after a day or so and there still being heaps more to go).
When the cats are away the mice will fucking play! This was all really good - this one is right up there guys. Top shelf Saturday Night with The Who Boys. Mark, Giles - you're fucking nuts dudes, I love it! What do your wives friends think? Tune selection was awesome. Thanks for introducing me to Roy Bud guys - man, what happened to audio production? That was surely the zenith for dynamic range and tone. Your shows seem to be the only time I actually bliss out to incredibly cheesy oldies. It's all about that sound. Thanks for spoon feeding it to me!
Oh right, Sherman has arrived, sanity at last. I'm sinking back into it now.
Where's Shed? Maybe he is on his way.

Hahaaa! Shed was in the first half, the ASBO section - I mugged and raped him. At the moment he's trying to sort out his computer so he can do a ShedCast for the show.
What do our wives think? As far as I know, only two of them have heard it. My wife thinks it's just something that is a threat to peace in our home, she certainly doesn't listen to it. But my daughter does, which slightly worries me...
Re Roy budd - we could give you some AMAZING tracks by him - PM me, and I can pass em over messenger anytime.
Glad you liked the show - always love your feedback, Wax! the next show, which we're working on now, is gonna be based around microstories (very short stories, with appropriate background noise, in between each track).

I never tell my wife's friends about it, and I doubt they'd be that interested somehow. They'd just see it as an eccentric hobby, not "proper radio that people get paid for doing".
That seems to be the attitude so often: "D'you get paid for it?"
"No."
"Oh...what do you do it for then?"
Most people see it like that, Wax. Only my arty farty friends are enthusiastic about it. And me lovely daughter - but she's arty farty too, just like her old Dad.
