well the shit has hit the fan this week, i have had a residency for the last 9 years in a small club in warwickshire ( near coventry ), and last week we were taken to court following a single noise complaint and got closed down. not pleased, but what ya gonna do!

Sorry to hear that.That's completely nuts."Let's turn away revenue,& tick off the paying citizens".Bah!
When I lived in Austin,Texas,they prided themselves on being a music-booster community.Yet,they drove around constantly with noise-detector-vans fining people for enjoying the best local resource.Even the city-sponsored concerts on the Town Lake were constantly harassed.
C'mon.invest in some ear-plugs.It's not even dark out!
I hope you get a new residency soon.
