Hi,
my name is Anselm and I come from Germany. Thus I'm living (or jus because of) in the countryside I got close to special black- and beat music genres from all over the world and experienced mashups as an really nice remix art to get people closer to new unknown music and to create transitions.
Even I like to dj and even do this sometime i see my personal passion and talent in the collecting and archiving of music (that means buying in most cases to achive best quality). So in my private live (Im still going to school) I develope a lot of database systems to get some nice information ressource someday.
My dream for the future is to open a Café with an open stage for lectures, parties and bands. I also want to recreate my "secret service" for djs in some commercial way. At this moment Im searching, ordering and creating cds and vinyls for three small club djs for some small fees (they gave me 50 euros last month for serving them with about 40 tone carriers). As far as good guys like Spank Rock, Jahcoozi, The Tape and the whole mashup-scene is not very popular i have good conditions to continue this. Please recognize that this is not about selling MashUps, they get all the sources and information too.
Then I play around with some personal plan of great musical genre history and genealogy of the 20th century. I know it exists (and is still developed) in "Iskurs Guide to Electronic Music" but I want to make it some more professional as some "lifetime project".
I hope for some nice discussions and tracks. Ill try to give as much as you gave me but as long I see my passion in listening, archiving and informing I think that you might stamp me as some leecher. i hope you wont ;-)
