I've got a problem:

I want to digitalize my LP's, but my Hifi-rack is one floor higher than my PC.
So no direct connection is possible.
Hay anyone an idea how to solve this problem?
Is there any possibility like a mobile harddisk that I can conncet to my turnable or any bluetooth solution?

almost every simple mp3player has some line connection perhaps you might try that? In fact this is aint digitalizing but some low quality rip.

i recommend: Put your computer up and do your records on a weekend with flac. if its not long enough do the same stuff in more weekends.

If you really have to much money you could get some CF-Card- or Harddisc-Recorder starting from 200€ (i have a used one for 140€ which i use for live recording). If youre really interested in such stuff give some message... otherwise: save your money, buy records and use your pc!

The simple and cheapest solution is to either move your Pc or Hifi.

That's not as easy as it sounds:
My Hifi is permanent built in, so disconnecting all the cables for
only one or another song is too much work.

In the meanwhile I bought myself a 20 m long cable (was quite expensive!!)

This works very well: I takes me about 5 minutes to digitalize one song.
