Best ones are Sony Vegas and Final Cut Pro. Don't accept anything less.

For Video you'll need a hefty processor though and AT LEAST 2GB Ram.

I use Vegas 7... if you would like a copy then you can purchase it at sony's website!

And Brewski hooked me up with some links for nice quality video if your interested

have vegas 7... but for some reason i cannot get video... it says video stream cannot be determined or all avi files... my codecs are up to date and it appears some other people have the same prob but to no avail!


i don't wanna upgrade to 8 if its still gonna have the same probs... anyone seen this b4?

Where are you getting your source material from? & do you have a program like Super (I hear theres something better but thats what I use and it seems to work fine) to convert the files to mpeg if you need to?

I also user Super, it really is "Super" and works fine for me.

Icky, maybe it's worthwile doing a re-install buddy. You're not trying to open .flv files in Vegas are you?

lol.... nah just xvid avi.... did a reinstall 3 times... and cleared all reg entries each time...

check some of the forums for help and it seems as quite a few people have a prob with avi not being recognised by vegas..... got the trial of 8 and am using that for 30 days..... until i find a solution...

I still use Acid 4.0 most of the time & I have 6.0 installed! haha. I like it better!
