Default Tor-nader!!!

Well, last night I got 6 minutes notice of a tornado.I was very skeptical since they tend to hype weather on the local stations.I hustled cats & myself down to the basement.Petrushka was at work, thank the lord.
I was wrong & it was an over-a-hundred mile an hour tornado. It & the winds wrecked tons of stuff in the area.A giant 50-year-old tree in the front yard got snapped off & crashed down missing the house,if it had come the other way,I would'a been smashed.
SO the power is off till tuesday.I guess I'll head over to my Mom's house an hour away.
I'm on a friends' pc for this afternoon, but my Mother doesn't have internet.I'll see you all when things return to normal.

I sure did.I still have use for my body, broken tho' it is.The house is very useful too,as long as trees don't smash it.
I saw that house in person. After the tree was removed, the house crumbled in a lot more. The spruce tree that feel in our front yard was 3 times the size of the one in that pic.
When Petrushka's Dad was here in the house,a tornado knocked a tree of similar size to the spruce through the roof, narrowly missing him. So,the roof we have currently is all-new.
Kind'a surprised people didn't comment in this thread. It was a deadly tornado!

Glad to hear that you, Pat and the cats survived.

Weather is a freakish thing isn't it.

I live in Australia and it's still winter here, the temperature is 25 deg. celcius, the sky is clear and blue and the sun is golden. (I used to live in England so i still find it hard to get used to the Australian Winters!!!)

So let me get this right, another tree earlier did fall on your roof?

Time to get rid of those deadly vegetables around your house.

Nice house on the pic by the way, is yours similar?

No, he meant that a tree did fall on the house some years ago, when Pats dad used to own it...

Despite the tornados and falling trees it certainly does look nice round where Useo lives!

That's for sure! I'm not a corn-growin',chaw-chewer like most of my fine neighbors. Some would actually cross the street to avoid me!
When I had hair down to my waist last year,I had trouble getting served in restaurants around here.
I guess the areas actually very nice. It's just that I am a city boy!
I'm moving to Austin,Texas,ASAP!

They didn't know whether to greet you as Mr. or Ma'am! Easier just to keep you away
