I've been around long enough to see lots of great musical acts break up.
It doesn't seem to take a lot.but it's often the same pattern.These things are involved-

1.drugs (alice in chains)
2.money (damned)
3.ego (beatles)
4.ability level differences (pixies)
5.musical direction (clash)



I was in sports a lot & they hammered the concept of team work
into us repeatedly.The one must sacrifice for the many to ensure victory.
Always remember the best reason to break up a group is old age!
