I am on my way to a funeral this morning, one of my friends from church has died from brain cancer.
My friend Bea, she was just diagnosed about 2 weeks ago.
I am glad she didn't suffer, as the cancer had spread all over her body.
She was a wonderful person, she always made me feel cared for when I saw her.
I have another friend with ms real bad, and this has woke me up to the realization that I don't call or see him enough. It takes so little time to make a call, or drop a card to someone.
All we have is the moment, I want to make more of those little times, instead of getting so caught up in myself.
Let's celebrate, we are here and we all have something to give.
A friend of mine has a saying on her stove-
To the world you might just be one person, but to one person you might be the world.
I really appreciate all of you here, you make my life a lot better just by knowing you, thanks for the laughs and the oh-so-important music.
Cheers to us.
Thanks, guys, I'm at the hospital right now with another friend from church, having an emergency appendectomy. What a crazy day this has been.
Thanks, I love all you guys, and hope you are having a great day.
Thanks for listening to me.
I nearly died from surgery,so I really try to enjoy the present. It's the only time I can affect. It'll be too late when I'm wormfood to let folks now I cared.
Well my friend is ok, he is 75 yrs old and already has steel knees, he's blessed about this one. His appendix had burst and he is alive to tell about it. Most people don't survive that, as the toxins usually kill them. I am so glad he is ok, as he has been like a father to me, and a good one, unlike my own.
This moment is good.
