Someone mentioned in a thread recently,that they were no mashup expert.Yet,I found a torrent with tracks of theirs from a few years back & they were excellent.The most recent track posted by this person was killer,too!
I know I'm no expert.I just try to listen & pay attention.
I would consider Go Home Productions to be the nearest to an expert that I can think of at the moment.

Who do YOU consider a mashup expert?

My choice for an expert would be DJ Schmolli,i get a lot of pleasure from listening to his mashes

What's an expert???
There are a lot of great producers out there! Some use songs which I don't know, others have quite different mixing styles.
Clivester is more a remixer, DJ Schmolli, Aggro1, DZ Zebra and Morgoth are great mashers. Budtheweiser is the master of long mixes, and a lot of Dreamtime mixes are fantastic.

There are a lot of TV shows out there, like "Who's the best german?"
But you can't compair Konrad Adenauer with Boris Becker.

For me it's the same with mixing.
The only thing I can say is I like this one ore that one or not!

Exactly! No one is an "expert bootlegger" it all goes on the individuals style. The bootlegging genre is so vast, that there is no way of pin pointing an individual as the "expert of bootlegs". One persons "expert" is another persons pet hate.

Yes, it is all according to taste. I myself love ghp, as well as many peeps on our site. I am always telling my hiphop friends about the great tizwarz, and also talk of many of you. "You've all done very well!!!"

Mashup experts, well like the original poster said people have short memories (re: the torrent file, you'd be surprised how much things get recycled over the years, people go wow and it's like how many cycles has that pella had? ;-) and people with the skills don't shout it from the trees, but if they give good advice as they know their shit so:
