doing a little bit of research turns out that they grow loads of places
from the pictures I've seen loooks like they grow in my garden!

yeah they grow wild, there's a place in edinburgh where they grow, im sure it's only 2 months they live then die, but you can dry them out and use later.

i got them from there, but that was in 1991 lol

Yeah - picked loads. May Hill in Gloucestershire has a huge patch of them, and Alderley Edge in Manchester, RIGHT near the train station.

There are 2 main types of mushrooms in the UK - Psilocybe Semilacantea

There are another type of mushroom which is mistaken for these which is poisonous, so make sure they have the gnome cap.

I asked around (got some real odd looks) & I found a guy who is learned on those things.He says to get them already processed in chocolate (!) & then they taste fine.I'll check at wal-mart tomorrow! Lol

You've taken those? They really don't look like Shrooms to me. Did they work? I tend to be wary of the black capped ones because of the old death hat thingies..

Proper shrooms have a really, really thin stalk and they're only about 2-3inches tall. Need to do about 50-100 of them to get any effect....

the first ones in the picture i showed you aren't due until October, for about 2-3 weeks. Just when it gets cold, but before the first frost which kills them all.
